Layout of the Exhibition
The central panel is made up of 24 sheets of fused glass (each measuring 130x60cm). It occupies the space of the entrance hall of Ca’ Pesaro giving on to the Grand Canal, thus setting up an atmospheric play of light within the substance of the glass.
On the walls are nineteen watercolours of preparatory studies for the central work, showing the artist gradually exploring the notion of ‘boundaries breached’.
