The exhibition presents a selection of six works of sculpture, a print and a video, whose most apparent formal link is the color black.
These are particularly representative of the artistic career of Andrea Morucchio (b. 1967), developed over a wide ranging creative investigation. Photography, sculpture, installation, video and performance art have been the means used over more than a decade of continuous experiementation in expressive, experiential dimensions and creations of meaning.
With this show – and continuing with its “vocation” – Sala 10, the last room in Ca’ Pesaro’s museum itinerary, once again proposes itself as a space dedicated to the rotation of presentations of unpublished works from its collections, significant essays, rediscoveries in video art and videography and, in this case, important experimental works by young artists.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue, with introductory texts by Silvio Fuso and Stefania Portinari and, for the individual works, texts by Giovanni Bianchi, Daniele Capra, Chiara Casarin, Gaia Conti, Domitilla Musella, Andrea Pagnes, Silvio Saura and Alberto Zanchetta.
The exhibition is made possible with the support of Studio Legale Marchionni & Associati Trento-Milano and Bugno Art Gallery.
