Catalogue and collections

Filing cabinets and their relative index cards are located in the reading room. The index system is arranged in such a way that it can be accessed by author, curator, artist, subject, exhibition place or title for quick and easy reference.

Online catalogue. The online catalogue may be consulted via OPAC of the SBN Polo Veneziano at the following address: http://polovea.sebina.it/SebinaOpac/Opac.

Collections. The Ca’ Pesaro Library contains over 11,000 volumes and pamphlets, as well as a vast amount of other reference material including invitations, press releases, brochures, newspaper articles, etc (the newspaper articles relate mainly to those artists whose works appear in the Gallery and form part of the artists’ archive). The collections are divided into the following main sections: material relating to the Biennale International Exhibition of Modern Art for the period 1895-2003 (general catalogues, brochures for individual pavilions and/or artists); monographs by artists and artistic movements of the 19th and 20th centuries; catalogues from individual and group exhibitions which have taken place in Italy and abroad; auction catalogues; magazines (still to be catalogued).
